Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will close for good after administrators could not find buyers for the sites. Seven of the centres facing closure are in Queensland. The closures follow the provider's financial collapse, which has left families rushing to find alternative care arrangements.
Administrators managed to sell some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 received no bids. Parents have been given little time to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown moves ahead.
