Nelson Toburen, a linebacker who won two NFL championships with the Green Bay Packers under coach Vince Lombardi, has died at 87 after a battle with cancer.

Toburen played during the Lombardi era, a standout chapter in Packers history. The team dominated professional football during those years, and Toburen contributed to that period of dominance.

After his time on the field was over, Toburen went on to serve as a judge in Kansas, a role that became a central part of his legacy.
